Syria’s Initial National Communication to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)

Description:
International Agreement, Environmental Managements and Climate Changes Issues. Management of the Enabling activities for the Preparation of Syria’s Initial National Communication to the UNFCCC:
- Responsibility of day-to-day project management and Monitor the implementation and progress of the programme portfolio, to ensure smooth implementation of the project in accordance with the project document and UNDP and GEF procedures.
- Coordinating and overseeing the preparation and delivery of all substantive, managerial and financial reports from and on behalf of the project. And supervise all project staff as well as the project budget.
- Propose the development process of activities in the Environment and Climate Change fields.
- Contribute to the implementation of the Country Office Advocacy and Resource Mobilization Strategies.
- Build up effective partnerships with clients: Government, donors, NGOs, UN agencies and other partners through advocacy and knowledge sharing.
- Manages and contributes to multi-disciplinary sustainable planning and design in the project focusing on carbon emissions, water, energy, transport, waste, ecology and social infrastructure.
